Prices for painting MDF range from €120 to €350 on average, based on around 90 completed jobs. The final price depends on surface size, finish (e.g. satin or gloss), and whether primer has already been applied. With Zoofy, there are no call-out fees.
This service includes volume discounts. Are you having multiple MDF panels painted? Then you’ll receive a discount starting from the second panel.
Painting MDF typically takes 4 to 8 hours, including primer application, sanding between coats, and finishing with one or more topcoats. Depending on drying times and surface area, the job may be split over two days.
The painter starts by dusting and lightly sanding the MDF. A suitable MDF primer is applied first. Once dry, the surface is sanded again and then finished with one or more coats of lacquer. The area is left clean and tidy after completion.
All painters working through Zoofy are carefully screened and must maintain an average customer rating of 9.2 or higher. You can read reviews from previous clients to make sure you’re choosing a professional and reliable expert.
You can always contact the painter via Zoofy after the job for any questions or issues. Every painter is legally required to provide warranty. You can also purchase an optional Zoofy warranty package for extra peace of mind.
