Zoofy Cookie Statement

Last updated: 15 May 2026

Zoofy B.V. uses cookies and similar technologies on its website. This cookie statement explains what these technologies are, why we use them and how you can manage your preferences.

This statement applies to www.zoofy.nl and its associated subdomains where this statement and our cookie settings are available. The cookie settings show which domains your choice applies to.

1. What are cookies and similar technologies?

Cookies are small files that a website stores on your computer, tablet or phone and can read later. They can, for example, remember your session or settings.

We also use technologies such as local storage, session storage, IndexedDB and pixels. Local storage and IndexedDB store information in your browser. Pixels and similar requests can send information about a visit or action to a server. References to “cookies” below also include these technologies.

Some cookies are set on a Zoofy domain; others come from external providers. A cookie on our own domain may also be used by an external service.

2. What data may be processed?

Depending on the technology, the data processed may include a cookie or visitor ID, IP address, browser and device information, pages visited, the referring website, timestamps and actions such as clicking or completing a booking. This information may constitute personal data, even if it does not include your name.

When you use chat or other interactive features, we also process the information you provide yourself. You can find more information about the processing of personal data, your rights and our contact details in the Zoofy privacy statement on our website.

3. What types of cookies do we use?

Necessary cookies

These are required for the website to work properly and securely or to provide a feature you have requested. Examples include remembering your cookie choice, managing a session and protecting against misuse. Consent is not required for cookies that fall within this statutory exemption. You can block them through your browser, but parts of the website may then stop working properly.

Preference cookies

These remember settings and support additional features, such as recognising a returning chat visitor. We ask for prior consent for preference cookies that are not necessary for a feature you have requested.

Statistics cookies

These help us understand how the website is used and where we can improve it. For this purpose, we use visitor and session IDs and information about navigation and interactions, among other things. This data is not automatically anonymous. We ask for prior consent for statistics cookies that affect your privacy. Analytics cookies may only be used without consent if they have no or only a minor impact on your privacy and meet the requirements of the statutory exemption.

Marketing cookies

These are used to measure advertising results, create audiences and tailor advertisements to interests. Providers may combine visits and actions across different websites or services for these purposes. External videos may also use these technologies. We ask for prior consent for this.

A cookie that has not yet been classified does not qualify for a separate exemption from the consent rules. Its purpose and whether consent is required must be clear in advance.

4. Which services and cookies are present?

Services detected on the website include Cookiebot, Google (including Analytics, Ads and YouTube), Microsoft (including Clarity and advertising services), Meta, Trengo and Common Ninja. The supplied cookie overview also lists Apollo and OpenAI. Which services are active depends on the page, the feature used and your cookie choice.

The examples below are taken from the cookie overview dated 7 November 2026. The classification and durations must reflect actual use. Full information for each cookie, including its provider, purpose, type and storage duration, is available in the details of our cookie settings.

Session

The “#” symbol represents a variable part of a name. The same technology may appear on several domains or in different forms of storage. The duration in this table refers to storage on your device and is not automatically the retention period for data already sent to a server.

5. How long are cookies stored?

Session cookies are intended to last for a browser session. Other cookies have a set lifetime. How long they actually remain also depends on your browser settings and whether they are renewed during a later visit.

For local storage or IndexedDB, “permanent” in the cookie overview means that no automatic expiry date has been specified. The information may remain until the website, the provider, your browser or you delete it. This does not mean that personal data may be retained indefinitely. Data processed further is subject to the retention periods and criteria in the applicable privacy statement.

6. Giving, refusing or withdrawing consent

The cookie banner allows you to accept optional cookies, refuse them or set your preferences by category. Visiting the website or continuing to click does not in itself constitute consent.

You can change your choice or withdraw your consent at any time, free of charge, through “Cookie settings” on the website. Withdrawing consent must be as easy as giving it. Following withdrawal, we stop the processing for which you have withdrawn consent. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before that time.

You can continue to visit the website and book a job if you refuse optional cookies. Some additional features, such as embedded videos, may only become available after you consent to the relevant cookies.

Open cookie settings

Your choice is saved for the domains listed in the cookie settings. In the overview dated 7 November 2026, these are www.zoofy.nl, dev.zoofy.nl and status.zoofy.nl. Your choice does not automatically apply to other websites, browsers or devices.

7. Deleting cookies through your browser

You can use your browser to view, block or delete cookies and other website data. The options differ between browsers. Please consult the help section of, for example, Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Edge. Deleting website data may also remove your saved settings, session and cookie choice. You may then see a cookie banner again.

Deleting cookies does not automatically delete data previously stored by Zoofy or a provider. Where applicable, you can submit a privacy request for this purpose.

8. External providers and processing outside the EEA

External services may process data on behalf of Zoofy or for their own purposes, depending on the service and the arrangements made. Data may be processed outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Where this happens, there must be a valid basis for the transfer, such as an adequacy decision or appropriate contractual safeguards, together with supplementary measures where necessary.

Our privacy statement provides more information about recipients, international transfers and your rights. The cookie settings contain links to information from the relevant providers.

9. Changes and contact

We may update this cookie statement if our website, our use of cookies or the rules change. The date at the top shows when the text was last updated. If a change requires fresh consent, we will ask for it again.
