Types of floors
We start at the beginning of floor-laying, the groundwork. Because, of course, you can have all the wishes for that beautiful floor covering or tiled floor, but the real floor laying starts much earlier, namely under the floor.
Concrete floor
A concrete floor is often a subfloor, for example for carpeting. A concrete floor consists of solid and hard material. Of course, you can also use it as a normal floor. But it is not very flexible and it does not withstand temperature changes well. This means that it is not always the most suitable for a finished floor in a home. Therefore, this type of floor is often used as a substrate. You can therefore choose to have concrete poured as a basis for your floor covering, for example.
