The cost of hiring a plasterer to repair drywall damage varies between €280 and €800 and an average of €545 depending on the extent of the damage. Generally, if the hole can be covered with what is called a 'drywall filler', the repair is a flat rate. Most of the cost is in the plasterer's labour. For minor repairs, expect to pay an average of €50 to €65 per hour for plasterer's repair, or about €50 to €75 per square metre.

Causes of plasterboard damage
