Reliable professional, solved with confidence
Painting a radiator with wall paint may seem convenient, but regular wall paint often does not adhere well to metal and can discolour due to heat. Through Zoofy, you can quickly arrange a suitable tradesperson to prepare the radiator properly and finish it with suitable paint. This gives you a neat result that stays looking good for longer.

Having a radiator painted usually costs between โฌ75 and โฌ175, depending on the size, condition of the radiator and preparation needed. If old paint needs sanding, rust must be treated or special radiator paint is required, the price may be higher. Materials such as primer, degreaser and heat-resistant paint may be added separately.
Painting a radiator usually takes around 1.5 to 3 hours. The time depends on cleaning, degreasing, sanding, masking and the number of paint layers. Due to drying time between primer and paint, the total turnaround time may be longer than the actual working time.
The tradesperson first checks the surface and whether the radiator is suitable for repainting. The radiator is then cleaned, degreased, lightly sanded and treated for rust where needed. After that, the tradesperson applies a suitable primer and radiator paint, so the finish adheres properly and can withstand heat.
Zoofy works with screened tradespeople who are reviewed by previous customers. You can see who will carry out the job and rely on someone with experience in painting and small maintenance jobs. This helps ensure the radiator is treated neatly, safely and with the right materials.
After the job, the tradesperson remains legally responsible for the work carried out. If you have also chosen the optional paid warranty package through Zoofy, that extra cover applies according to the package conditions. For questions about drying time, maintenance or the finish, you can contact Zoofy after the job.
Zoofy does its best to find a suitable tradesperson to paint your radiator. Availability depends on your location, timing and the size of the job. If no suitable tradesperson is available, this will be clearly communicated to you.
You pay only through Zoofy and never directly to the tradesperson in cash or by card. After the job is finished, you can easily pay via QR code. Payment by email invoice is also possible.
