Reliable professional, solved with confidence
Dyeing a sofa with Dylon can be difficult, because not every fabric absorbs dye properly and large surfaces can easily become patchy. Through Zoofy, you can quickly arrange a suitable tradesperson to check what is possible and treat the sofa carefully. This helps prevent colour differences, streaks and unnecessary damage to the upholstery.

Having a sofa dyed with Dylon usually costs between โฌ125 and โฌ400, depending on the size of the sofa, the type of fabric and the condition of the upholstery. A loose cover or small armchair is often easier to treat than a fixed fabric sofa with multiple seat areas and cushions. Materials such as fabric dye, cleaner and protective after-treatment may be added separately.
Dyeing a sofa with Dylon usually takes around 3 to 8 hours. The time depends on cleaning, preparation, even dye application and treating cushions, seams and hard-to-reach areas. Due to drying time, the sofa often cannot be used immediately after the job.
The tradesperson first checks the fabric type and whether the upholstery is suitable for dyeing. The sofa is then cleaned, prepared and, where needed, loose covers or cushions are treated separately. After that, the tradesperson applies the fabric dye as evenly as possible and gives advice on drying, airing and first use after the treatment.
Zoofy works with screened tradespeople who are reviewed by previous customers. You can see who will carry out the job and rely on someone with experience in upholstery, cleaning or finishing work. This helps ensure your sofa is assessed carefully and treated neatly.
After the job, the tradesperson remains legally responsible for the work carried out. If you have also chosen the optional paid warranty package through Zoofy, that extra cover applies according to the package conditions. For questions about drying time, colour retention or maintenance, you can contact Zoofy after the job.
Zoofy does its best to find a suitable tradesperson to dye your sofa with Dylon. Availability depends on your location, timing and the material of the sofa. If no suitable tradesperson is available or the upholstery does not seem suitable for dyeing, this will be clearly communicated to you.
You pay only through Zoofy and never directly to the tradesperson in cash or by card. After the job is finished, you can easily pay via QR code. Payment by email invoice is also possible.
