Installing a screed floor usually costs between €35 and €85 per m², depending on the surface area, layer thickness and preparation of the subfloor. A large, easily accessible room is often cheaper per m² than a small room with many corners, height differences or extra preparation work. Material costs for sand-cement, binder, insulation, edge strips, reinforcement or primer may be charged separately.
On average, installing a screed floor takes about 1 to 2 days for a normal room. The exact duration depends on the number of square metres, layer thickness and accessibility. Keep in mind that the floor will still need to dry before the final floor finish can be installed.
