Reliable professional, solved with confidence
Painting anodised aluminium requires careful preparation, because the hard top layer does not automatically allow paint to adhere well. Through Zoofy, you can quickly arrange a suitable tradesperson to clean, sand and treat the surface with the right primer and paint. This helps prevent peeling, streaks and unnecessary repair work.

Having anodised aluminium painted usually costs between โฌ125 and โฌ400, depending on the surface area, the condition of the anodised layer and the desired finish. A small profile or frame part is often quicker than a larger panel, door frame or several aluminium parts. Materials such as degreaser, sanding materials, adhesion primer and suitable metal paint or lacquer may be added separately.
Painting anodised aluminium usually takes around 2 to 6 hours. The time depends on cleaning, degreasing, light sanding, masking, priming and the number of paint layers. Due to drying time between primer and paint, the total turnaround time may be longer than the actual working time.
The tradesperson first checks the condition of the aluminium and whether the anodised layer is clean, damaged or weathered. The surface is then thoroughly degreased, lightly sanded and made dust-free. After that, the tradesperson applies a suitable adhesion primer and metal paint or lacquer, so the paint adheres properly and the aluminium is finished neatly.
Zoofy works with screened tradespeople who are reviewed by previous customers. You can see who will carry out the job and rely on someone with experience in painting and metal surfaces. This helps ensure your anodised aluminium is treated carefully, safely and with the right materials.
After the job, the tradesperson remains legally responsible for the work carried out. If you have also chosen the optional paid warranty package through Zoofy, that extra cover applies according to the package conditions. For questions about drying time, maintenance or the finish, you can contact Zoofy after the job.
Zoofy does its best to find a suitable tradesperson to paint your anodised aluminium. Availability depends on your location, timing and the condition of the material. If no suitable tradesperson is available or the surface needs repair work first, this will be clearly communicated to you.
You pay only through Zoofy and never directly to the tradesperson in cash or by card. After the job is finished, you can easily pay via QR code. Payment by email invoice is also possible.
