Having a nursery painted usually costs between โฌ175 and โฌ500, depending on the size of the room, the condition of the walls and the number of paint layers. If holes need filling, old layers need touching up or primer is required, the price may be higher. Materials such as paint, masking tape, protective film, primer and filler may be added separately.
Painting a nursery usually takes around 3 to 8 hours. The time depends on cleaning, masking, small repairs, priming and the number of walls that need painting. Due to drying time between layers, the total turnaround time may be longer than the actual working time.
The tradesperson first checks the walls and discusses which finish is suitable for the room. Floors, skirting boards, window frames and sockets are then masked, and small damage is repaired. After that, the tradesperson applies primer and paint evenly, so the nursery is delivered fresh, neat and well finished.
Zoofy works with screened tradespeople who are reviewed by previous customers. You can see who will carry out the job and rely on someone with experience in indoor painting work. This helps ensure the nursery is painted carefully, neatly and with attention to a safe living environment.
After the job, the tradesperson remains legally responsible for the work carried out. If you have also chosen the optional paid warranty package through Zoofy, that extra cover applies according to the package conditions. For questions about drying time, ventilation, maintenance or the finish, you can contact Zoofy after the job.
Zoofy does its best to find a suitable tradesperson to paint your nursery. Availability depends on your location, timing and the size of the job. If no suitable tradesperson is available, this will be clearly communicated to you.
You pay only through Zoofy and never directly to the tradesperson in cash or by card. After the job is finished, you can easily pay via QR code. Payment by email invoice is also possible.
