Having a flower pot painted usually costs between €55 and €150, depending on the size, material and desired finish. A small pot is often quicker to paint than a large outdoor planter or several flower pots at once. Materials such as degreaser, primer, lacquer or exterior paint may be added separately.
Painting a flower pot usually takes around 1 to 3 hours. The time depends on cleaning, sanding, priming and the number of paint layers. Due to drying time between primer and paint, the total turnaround time may be longer than the actual working time.

The pot is then cleaned, degreased, lightly sanded and, where needed, treated with primer.
